China is a country of socioeconomic contrasts. Their cities look at the future, changing in long strides, while the countryside refuses to change, clinging to the traditions and habits that made the country what it is today. The landscape varies broadly even inside the same city if you move around enough. The traditions seem to resist and peek through the skyscrapers for the sake of the good local people. The country is so big and full of natural wonders and its culture is so vast that you would need years to see, know and understand it all. But hey, if you do and need more of it, you can always try and mix it up with the British culture in Hong Kong, the Portuguese in Macau, or just go for a different version in Taiwan.
