Being Portuguese, having lived in this city and keeping great memories of it don’t make me the most neutral person, but I recommend Lisbon to all photographers anyway. The Portuguese capital has this wonderful light that just makes it easy to get great images. It is a very complete and diverse city, foreigners will probably feel as it is a bit stuck in time (which I think is good), the food is good and there’s a very relaxed atmosphere. I left Lisbon for Barcelona in 2010 and I still can’t decide which one has the best evening light. (Years: 2009 to 2011)
