I’ve only been in the Philippines once, in a very weather-troubled trip that had to be cut very short. I guess that was my extremest monsoon tropical storm experience ever.
Still, I had a chance to wander about for a few days and get a sense of what this beautiful country has to offer. I was amazed by the countries’ nature, its beaches, underwater life and diversity!
I could see remains of the colonial Spanish culture mixed with the traditional Philippine ways. I was able to taste their gastronomy and live like a local for a few days. It was an awesome experience and I hope I get a chance to go back very very soon.
